               Charles and Catherine Frank

Sometimes a home is more than a home , its a legacy. Charles was born in 1863 in Ohio and started working early. Employed as a clerk in a feedstore at 17, he was a bookkeeper when he married Catherine in 1889. In 1898, he was working in the county clerk's office when he purchased a large home on Deshler Avenue. At this home, he and Catherine raised five children and it was still in the family when he died in 1956. At various times, three of his children resided at this home with their families.
