Sometime the love story is implied by what is not found rather than what is discovered. George Eben was born in Wurttenberg, Germany in 1818. No information could be found on his wife and mother of his five children nor when they immigrated. In 1870, however, George found himself a single parent in Columbus with his German born children Andrew, age 23, Christian, 18, Catherine 9, and George Jr., age 21. The boys grew up to be carpenters and the girls wives and mothers. I bet they had a great dad.
