More About This Family:
John was born in 1815 in Germany, six years before his wife Marie. He immigrated in 1831, and Marie the next year. They were married in 1841. By 1880 they had four grown children. After Marie's death in 1889, John resided with his son Frederick and his wife Christina and their three children. He died in1903.
