Harold and Amy Schriener
                1945
During war, a sad reality is that couples are separated and it can end in heartbreak. Harold was born in Michigan in 1909, graduated from West High, and, prior to the start of World War II, fell in love with Amy. They were married before he joined the Army Air Corp in 1942. Sadly, he was killed in action on May 9, 1945.
