 August and Anna Kaiser

August Kaiser was born in 1864 and married Anna in 1896. So far so good. The City Directory of Columbus, however, listed his occupation in 1893 as "huckster." One must assume the definition of the term then was"seller of small items", though Anna's mother Agnes did find the need to move in with them.
