Louis and Junie Jato
                1889
Charles and Louisa were both born in Germany and came to Columbus with their parents as children. Love bloomed in their new country and they were married in 1852. They enjoyed a long life together and celebrated a fiftieth anniversary with their six children in 1902.

  John & Rose Waldschmidt

Whether its a job or a person, you stay with what you love. John was a blacksmith as early as 1895. He loved it. He married Rose in 1898. He loved her. In 1940, he was the last blacksmith in south Columbus
and was still loving Rose. He died in 1965 at age 99.
