Louis and Junie Jato

Charles and Louisa were both born in Germany and came to Columbus with their parents as children. Love bloomed in their new country and they were married in 1852. They enjoyed a long life together and celebrated a fiftieth anniversary with their six children in 1902.

The village doctor and his wife occupy a special place in their community. Such was the case with Mywood and Eva. He had been practicing medicine here for fifteen years when he married Eva in 1906.
They would live, love, and practice there for another 46 years.
