Louis and Junie Jato
                1889
Charles and Louisa were both born in Germany and came to Columbus with their parents as children. Love bloomed in their new country and they were married in 1852. They enjoyed a long life together and celebrated a fiftieth anniversary with their six children in 1902.

   Frank and Eva Schmitt
                  1878
Sometimes a dream is cut short. Frank and Eva immigrated from Bavaria and were the parents of six kids when they realized their dream of opening a saloon and grocery in 1878. Two years later, however, Eva died. Frank lived only another seven years.
