Louis and Junie Jato

Charles and Louisa were both born in Germany and came to Columbus with their parents as children. Love bloomed in their new country and they were married in 1852. They enjoyed a long life together and celebrated a fiftieth anniversary with their six children in 1902.

Christopher & Elizabeth Libeck

Christopher and Elizabeth must have been facinating to have as neighbors in the late 1800's. While living here, Chris worked as a gardner and, with Elizabeth, raised six kids. They could also tell you about what life was like here well before the Civil War up to the 1890's.
