Charles and Louisa were both born in Germany and came to Columbus with their parents as children. Love bloomed in their new country and they were married in 1852. They enjoyed a long life together and celebrated a fiftieth anniversary with their six children in 1902.

Junie was 35 years old, unmarried, and living in Columbus Ohio. Would she ever find love? Luckily, she found Louis. He was born in Prussia in 1852 and came to Columbus in 1878. Love bloomed, they were married in 1883, and had a daughter Mary.
