Leo J. Hock was born in 1921 in Ohio. He enlisted in the Army in June of 1942. His father, Leo A. Hock, was listed as a captain in the United States Army in 1938. Leo A. saw service in both World War II and Korea in the U. S. Army Veterinary Corp.
