Mary Birkenbach

Mary and her husband were, no doubt, seen as example to her neighbors. She was born in Bavaria in 1862 and immigrated as a young child in 1868. She became the wife to Matthew in 1884, a successful merchant, and together they raised eight children over the course of their 58 year marriage.
