 Magdaline immigrated from Germany in 1882 at age 19 with her husband Joseph. What makes this couple notable is the information found about their trip across the Atlantic. They departed Germany from the port of Breman, sailed to Southampton, England, and sailed for New York on the ship "Neckar."
