Mary Berkenbach
Mary was born in April of 1830 and immigrated from Germany in 1852. In 1900 she was a widow with eight children, two of whom continued to live with her. That is all we know about her from the records of the time. For what we do not know about the joys and sorrows of her life, we remember her this Mother's Day.
