Biographical notes:
Louis Wohlfarth was born in Germany in 1851, immigrated in 1873, and married Thackla in 1883. They had sons Louis and Oscar. He continued to live at this home with his family until his death in 1944 at age 94.
Thackla was born in 1860 in Germany and was married to Louis for 64 years at the time of her death in 1937.
