Biographical Notes:
John Rau resided in this neighborhood for quite a long time. He worked as a cigar maker in 1862, and 1867; ran a bar in 1872, but returned to cigar making till the turn of the new century. After 1900, he began selling china.
Oliver Willis was born in 1904 in Ohio. He was married to Pearle and was listed as working at various times as a shoeworker, and an iron worker,
