Biographical Notes:
Peter Leitwein was born in 1867 in Germany, immigrated in 1885, and with wife Sophy, raised five children: Herman, Florentine, Lawrence, George, and Eva. In 1882, he listed his occupation as a shoe maker, and later a laster(1902), a shoe worker (1907), and a car repairer (1915). He died in 1916.
John Schwartz was born in 1886 in Ohio. With wife Katherine, had children Lawrence and Marian. In 1923 he was employed as a lamp worker, a riveter (1925), and shoeworker (1928).
