Biographical Notes

Conrad Graumann was born in 1827 in Germany, married Anna, and had three children.

In 1898, the following were all
listed as living at 741 City Park.
Pauline, Otto, Julius (printer),
Johanna (widow), Henry (printer), Edward (printer) Conrad (upholisterer),
and Clara Graumann.

The best candidate for our Robert Barnett was born in 1870 and was married to Josie.

Issac Taynor was confirmed by several sources to have lived
at 741 City Park at this time. We are thinking that some of the residents listed lived in an apartment at this address.

John Meehan, the guard, may have been the one listed as being born in 1898 and a member of the U.S. Navy during World War I.
