Christopher Libeck was born about 1810 in Chessen. In the 1870 census when he was 70 years old, he was married to Elizabeth. It appears their daughter and her five children resided with them. Eighteen years later he was still working as a gardner.
Herbert Paul was born in 1891 in Columbus. He was married to Mary and in 1920 had children Mary, Herbert and Virginia. Also residing with them were his parents Joseph and Clara.
