Biographical Notes:
Paul Pfister was born in 1836 in Bavaria.
Alois Assman worked as a bartender, brewer, and as foreman at Born and Company and was a partner in Assman Brothers Brewery. It was described as a business selling groceries, provisions, wines, liquoirs, tobacco and cigars.
Elmer Assman was born in 1891.
Carl Hartman was born in 1890, fathered four children, and died in 1966.
George Schumm was born in 1891, also had four children and a wife Margaret.
